The athlete was born on November 21, 1983 as Stephanie Nicole Garcia-Colace in San Diego, California, USA. She was born as the twin daughters of parents, Jon Garcia and Kathy Colace. She grew up on a farm in the Phoenix suburb of Scottsdale, Arizona with her sister, Brianna (Brie Bella), who is sixteen minutes younger than her. She also has a mixed ethnicity of Mexican and Italian descent and holds an American nationality.
